Had a dream that I was watching the 1993 film Women In The Corn which was written, directed, and starred Winona Ryder and over the opening credits, which featured Sinead O’Connor wandering in a cornfield singing the hit single Women In The Corn. I listened to the commentary by Ryder who stated that she wished the scandal surrounding the film, which involved her sending the movie over budget by only travelling anywhere via helicopter after she developed a fear of cars, had not overshadowed the films theme of sisterhood. Can’t decide if this is the most feminist or the most misogynistic dream I have ever had. It’s possible it is both.
